Warranty - Shipping - Repairs - Returns

 
1. Warranty

 

Use of any Okii Systems LLC product constitutes agreement to the following:

 

Okii Systems LLC warrants its products to the original owner against material defects for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Pursuant to this Warranty, Okii Systems LLC will, at its option, (i) repair the product, or (ii) replace the product with a new or refurbished item. For purposes of this Warranty, “refurbished” means a product or part that has been returned to its original specifications.

 

This Warranty only covers product issues caused by defects in material or workmanship during ordinary consumer use; it does not cover product issues caused by any other reason, including but not limited to product issues due to acts of God, misuse, limitations of technology, or modification of or to any part of the product, including the software.

 

Okii Systems LLC is not responsible for inoperability resulting from changes to the camera firmware or USB protocol instituted by Canon. Likewise, if the software on the product is modified in any way, Okii Systems LLC makes no express or implied warranties whatsoever with respect to its functionality, operability, or use.

 

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from the Okii.net website prior to returning any product for warranty service. Reimbursement will not be made for service performed by others. Unless otherwise instructed, the product must be delivered, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection to the facility specified on the Okii Systems LLC RMA form. A copy of the original sales receipt must accompany all warranty claims.

 

The customer assumes all risk for the use of any Okii Systems LLC product, and is solely responsible for determining its suitability for use by any individual or application. Under no circumstances shall Okii Systems LLC be held liable for damages resulting from the use or misuse of the product.


2. Shipping


Okii Systems utilizes the United States Postal Service for shipping, for both local and international destinations. It is our policy to truthfully declare international packages at their invoiced value. Please be aware that this may incur additional customs duties, taxes, and/or fees in the destination country, which are the buyer's responsibility.


A tracking number is provided for each shipped order. It is the buyer's responsibility to monitor the progress of his or her package. Packages that are not delivered, claimed, or picked up because the buyer is not available at the shipping address, or because the buyer refuses to pay customs duties or fees, will not be re-sent unless additional shipping charges are paid. Orders returned for the above reasons may also be refunded (less all shipping and handling fees), provided the product arrives back in good condition.

 

3. Repairs

 

Please review the Okii Systems LLC warranty. It is only valid for the original purchaser, and a copy of the original sales receipt is required for all warranty repairs. User modification, damage, and neglect are not covered.

 

If you have a problem with your Okii Systems LLC product, you should first consult the troubleshooting section of your manual. If that does not resolve the problem, you may contact us by emailing info@okii.net. Okii Systems LLC only provides email tech support because it gives us a recorded history of every interaction with our customers. It also means that your questions can be answered in less than 24 hours (and many times within minutes), regardless of the time of day.

 

If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, it is very likely your email was not received, or your email provider blocked our return message. This is especially common with AOL and Hotmail.

 

If the troubleshooting section in the manual and correspondence with us do not solve your problem, you will need to send in your product. If repairs are required and they are not covered by the warranty, you may be contacted for additional payment.

  1. Download, print, and fill out the RMA form.
  2. Purchase the RMA item and pre-pay the return shipping from Okii Systems LLC to your address.
  3. The invoice number is your RMA number.
  4. Securely package your product and ship insured (at your expense) with tracking number to the address on the RMA form.
  5. Your package should include:
    • Copy of original sales receipt
    • RMA invoice
    • RMA (invoice) number written on the outside of the package
    • The product that needs to be repaired
  6. Do not send instruction manuals or extra parts, unless they are relevant to the issue 

 
 
4. Returns
 
Policy
  • Items must be returned within 15 days of purchase/delivery.
  • Items and packaging must be in near new, unused condition and show little or no signs of wear.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping, insurance, and all fees associated with the return.
  • Refunds will be made in accordance with the original payment method.
  • Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded.
  • Special orders or custom orders are not eligible for refunds.

Shipping procedure

  1. Download, print, and fill out the RMA form.
  2. Your RMA number is the invoice number from your original sales receipt.
  3. Securely package your product and ship insured (at your expense) with tracking number to the address on the RMA form.
  4. Your package should include:
    • Copy of original sales receipt
    • RMA form
    • Invoice number from original sales receipt written on the outside of the package
    • The product, including all packaging, parts, and/or materials
